The contact information on file with the registry is a legal document that only the true owner for the domain can modify. If any of it becomes obsolete, the owner needs to update it. Unfortunately, when it is the email address that becomes out of date, and there is no username and password available to access the account at the registry, the process is manual. Here is what to do:

  • Go to your registry’s website, e.g. NetworkSolutions
  • Retrieve your user id
  • Obtain your password by calling or faxing to the registry
  • With the username and password information, log in a modify the outdated info

If at any point you have a problem, don’t hesitate to contact us.
